So I found an interesting song tonight, whilst browsing iTunes (which I do pretty much all the time...I'm addicted)

It's by a band I've never heard of, called "Flyleaf." Their sound kind of reminds me of another band that I used to listen to back in my "black nailpolish" days...but I digress.
The lyrics to this song, "Fully Alive" are pretty interesting. I like this part especially:

All my complaints shrink to nothing
I'm ashamed of all my somethings
She's glad for one day of comfort
Only because she has suffered

Fully alive
More than most
Ready to smile and love life
Fully alive and she knows
I don't believe in futures

Very interesting lyrics. Kind of how I feel lately. And the "fully alive" part is so quality - it's so very St. Irenaeus, and so very Rusty. It's really got some pretty cool philosophy going on. I don't know about the last line, about not believing in futures...but we'll overlook that. It's still interesting.

So I'm moving back to Loras on the 21st. I can't wait. I'd try to go earlier, but the 20th is Polish Fest, and well, let's face it: I don't miss Polish Fest if I can help it. :) I dream of those pierogies, the kielbasa, and the polka music. It's truly the highlight of my summer. Hoorah.

This weekend is Festa Italiana, which is a good time, too. I'm not Italian, but I looove Italy, so it works. Megan is coming in on Saturday, so we're going to go to Festa together. Yay for Megan and Festa! :)
I've been aching for Italy lately. I think I need to go there. I really do. I want to live there. I wonder if they have any English schools. English immersion schools, perhaps? Or um, a military base? I don't know. I burn, I pine, I perish...for Italy.

Okay, that's it for now. I finally took a picture of my Lady Liberty, but I still have to put it on my computer. I'm still figuring out how to work this newfangled contraption. :)

Until next time-
